  • Planning the Well-Designed Garden

    Monday, May 22, 6:00 pm

    Take a walk through the Night Garden to learn about organizing, planning, and designing a permaculture garden; we’ll talk about historical garden design, sensory design decisions, companion planting, and choosing beneficial plants that support pollinators! You’ll go home with a potted plant of your choosing for your own garden.

  • Evening Harvest Series

    Third Thursdays, June - September

    Join us once a month between June and September for a relaxing evening walk through the garden and a chance to learn about how to harvest specific herbs in bloom. Each month we’ll focus on a specific plant or plant(s), learning about their best practices for harvest and processing, the herbs’ culinary and medicinal uses, and different preparations, and you’ll take home bunches to share with family and friends!

  • Milky Oat Harvest Workshop

    Sunday, June 18, 5:00 pm

    Join us in the Night Garden to learn everything you need to know about Milky Oat Tops - the fresh, unripe seeds of oats. For about a week in June, these seeds release a sweet, milky substance rich in magnesium, iron, and calcium. At this workshop, you’ll learn about the oats’ medicine and get a chance to harvest them from the garden. We’ll go over how to process them into a tincture, and you’ll get to take some home.

  • Food as Medicine

    Wednesday, July 12, 6:00 pm

    Join us in the Night Garden to talk about different varieties of culinary herbs and their medicinal benefits, as well as some ways to incorporate them into the diet. Try some herbal treats and take bunches of your favorite varieties home!

  • Salve-Making Workshoip

    Monday, July 17, 11:00 am

    Kids and adults are welcome to join me in the Night Garden for a tour of some of my favorite herbs for topical applications, then spend some time learning how to combine them into a salve to take home!

  • Tea Blending Workshop

    Wednesday, August 9, 6:00-7:30 pm

    Wander through the garden and learn about the various herbs in bloom and their medicinal qualities to get some inspiration for what kind of tea blend you might be interested in creating! Then we’ll go over the basics of tea blending and create a unique blend to take home, tailored to your needs and tastes.

  • Volunteer Days!

    Come bask in the sun, dig up some weeds, plant some seedlings, harvest some sweet-smelling herbs, and get your hands dirty with a crew! Weekly volunteer days are Thursday from 10:00 am -2:00 pm beginning Thursday, June 1. Come for as long as you can make it, and bring friends of all ages and abilities!
